What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a therapeutic system of medicine, which is scientifically-based and has a long history of effectiveness, and which works by stimulating the health- maintaining and repairing mechanisms of the human body simultaneously.
Modern Homeopathy was founded by a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann who elaborated a radically different approach to disease, remedy and cure
He called it Homeopathy, which is a compound of two Greek words: “omios” meaning same and “pathos” meaning disease
Some of the main diseases and conditions that Homeopathy can treat:

What to expect from your Homeopathic visit
- The first visit to a Homeopathic doctor will play out in much the same way as a visit to a conventional doctor
- There will be an in-depth enquiry concerning your medical history
- The first visit normally lasts between 1-2 hours
- There will usually be questions relating to personality traits, physical features, possible disease patterns within families
- Follow-up visits, if they are required, will be shorter in duration, and will be aimed at seeing what aspects of a patient’s condition have changed positively, and which have not changed either substantially or at all
